First Camping Trip with NTKO

Our first camping trip was a huge success! 3 families visited Cedar Hill State Park for the very first time and got to camp, kayak, geocache, and make s'mores by the campfire.

Our project was made possible by a $2,500 grant from Outdoor Nation! We would like to thank Texas Outdoor Family for allowing us to partner with them during their workshops, Texas Parks and Wildlife for the generous scholarships that will support 9 families, REI for their volunteers & generous donation of water bottles, nature journals, coupons, and informational pamphlets, City of Dallas Storm Water Management for donating hand-crank flashlights, our volunteers, and our families!
