What exactly is an ON-IT Summit?

ON-IT Summits provide a rigorous leadership and activation experiences for top Outdoor Nation community members interested in taking on greater responsibility and bringing their ideas to the next level. Over two-days, outdoor leaders, activists and social entrepreneurs share experiences, successes and challenges of ongoing community projects and participate in workshops on community organizing, communications, project development and advocacy.


I have had the ability to attend the 2011 Denver Summit, 2011 National Congress in Washington D.C., 2012 Conference in Miami, FL, 2012 Austin Summit, 2012 Denver ON-IT summit, and am looking forward to many, many more adventures with Outdoor Nation. 

I was sponsored by Merrell and The North Face to attend the Austin and Denver summits in 2012 and received free gear, clothes, and a brand new Ipad 2. It's your turn to say "bienvenido" to Outdoor Nation!

I am passionate about equal access to the outdoors and love getting outside when I can. My goal is to see more people that look like me enjoying spending time in nature. That doesn't always have to mean hiking or climbing mountains. It can mean ultimate Frisbee  running races, gardening, or simply reading a book outside. 

If you enjoy doing ANYTHING outside and want others to experience the outdoors like you do, give the Outdoor Nation summit a chance. They will award top projects, created by YOU, grant funding to make your ideas come to life. Still don't believe me?
